why post a personal email on a blog? a tad irresponsible I would think.
also posting your email address and that of others just increases the chances of getting spammed as the bots crawl all over the net looking for email addresses. Unless of course, you enjoy deleting spam once you log into your email account.

Hi Anonymous, I get your point, but I've done it before to make a point--evidently editting it before I posted.
It serves as a preface to an *upcoming* post, and besides, it's not a correspondence with a friend, which would never go up here. The saliencey of my point was what impelled me to post it up.
